Our Story
Out of Necessity
The Reedsport Outpost began out of necessity for us to fund our Lower Umpqua Republican group. Originally, we came up with an idea to fund our home is to have booths of treasures and crafts at different fairs and shows, however, we found a better solution, why not have them all in one place all the time for people to find? So that is what we’ve done!
Our Theme
We have an outpost theme and so some of our structure is made from big logs. We have almost 20 vendors so far with everything from antique glassware that lights up with a black light to knives, pictures painted by local artists, and beautiful handmade wooden lighthouses!
A Man Cave!
The unique thing about us will be our “Man Cave”. Men always want tools and our Man Cave (still under construction) will have tools, sporting goods, and hunting and fishing items.
Soft Opening
Our soft opeming is May 5 at 11:00 am. We will have food, music, and the Reedsport Mayor wil ccut the ribbon at the opening of our new business! Please come join us for this celebration!
Going Forward & Hours
We plan on being open every day except Monday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Our building includes a room that will be the meeting room for the Lower Umpqua Republican meetings; however, that room i also under construction at this time. We might be opening a little prematurely, but here we go!! Come see us next tot he post office in Reedsport!
